Welcome to SANN

The Severe Asthma National Network (SANN) was established in 2010.

SANN is a UK multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving severe asthma care through collaboration, education, research and shared best practice. Our members include specialist nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, psychologists, clinicians and researchers from across the UK, working together to support best practice, education, research and shared learning around severe asthma care, including biologic therapies.

Each team member plays a key role in advancing clinical care, developing educational resources and facilitating national collaboration.

Our Aims:

Bringing together healthcare professionals to improve care for children, young people, and adults with severe asthma.

Sharing best practice to enhance clinical standards and patient outcomes.

Developing educational opportunities to support healthcare professionals in severe asthma care.

Influencing care delivery to improve severe asthma treatment pathways for all age groups.

Providing expert resources to support clinicians, researchers, and policymakers.

Driving research and audit to advance evidence-based asthma management.

Supporting national collaboration to strengthen severe asthma networks and professional partnerships.
